Select/As Required/Kit Backfit process

Download the MMS55ASK backfit executable and store in the MMSWIN root directory.  

Note: Ensure that all users are out of MMS before running this process.   They only need to be out of the directories where the process is going to be ran.  

Double click to run the exe. Enter password and login. The following screen will appear.

All valid <Data> directories will appear in the grid with the 'Select' column marked to process.  Uncheck any directories that you DO NOT want to run the process on at this time.  This process can be ran multiple times.  

 NOTE:  It is possible to run the process more then once but you may encounter problems, i.e. existing supports in the table won’t get their qty changed if the transactions 'Select' quantities changed.

To change to a different MMSWIN directory click the "Select Root Directory" button.  The 'Select Directory' popup form will appear.  Change to the desired directory and click 'SELECT' or click the 'CANCEL' button to return to the form.  

NOTE: Before clicking the RUN button ensure you backup the supportniin.dbf file for any directories where support records already exist.  

Once you have your directories selected/deselected click the RUN button to create the records.  To the right of the data directory column the number of records for each directory selected are displayed.  These counts indicate the number of Select/AR/Kit support records found in the transaction file to process, the number of dups, adds and a total of adds and dups.
